He gives the rhythm section a solid foundation, with his distinctive keyboard playing, to keep the soca movin' and the reggae groovin' and the ballads flowing. Also when it comes down to singing his harmonic sounds can move a crowd during the Reggae/Dub selections.

 

John came into the band in 1990, but he received his musical start in a unique way, he started to watch his older brother play the piano, and it just took him. It was then that he made up his mind, he wanted to know how to do that, and he studied music and learned his craft.

 

John who was born under the zodiac sign of Capricorn, has a date of birth of  January 18, 1974. Some of his outside interest besides music are Basketball, meditation, and listening to music. His personal musical I-pod collection usually consist of some Bob Marley, Luciano, Beres, Chicago, and Al Green just to name a few. He also likes to have a good time, which for him will include good stimulating conversation.

 

His musical influences are Bob Marley and the Wailers, Stevie Wonder, Leston Paul, Nicholas Branker, Biggie, Nas, Pac, Earth Wind & Fire and many  popular others. His first professional production and recording, was the very popular Love Game, from Technic's second album.

 

John has also had the pleasure of working on projects with other talented artist, such as Shabba, Jr. Reed, Luciano, Nardo Ranks, Eek A Mouse, and Terry Ganzie.
